It is a deep journey so get your quality headphones ready, turn the lights OFF and enjoy the ride.
This track is a powerful co-creation and i'm delighted that it has provided the space to introduce my dear sister Whaia (pronounced Faya) in a way she has not yet been heard. The strength she carries as well as her deep respect for her Maori ancestry and traditions plays such a pivotal role in taking Medicine Woman to another level.
Lindsey Wise's sweet and delicious tones beautifully complement these vocals and I am so grateful for her equally powerful touch. Blessed to have two full-power medicine-sisters representing on this track.
Thank you to the incredibly high-caliber musicians that made this track fly. Murray Kyle, Si Mullumby, Algimiro Cesarino and Peter Jack Rainbird. You are all magic and I am humbled to create with you.
Last but not least... Benjamin Last. So refreshing to work with such a consummate professional. Thank you for hearing me clearly and applying your wizardry where it was needed as well as augmenting the art in such a tasteful and powerful way. So happy with the results.
Love and gratitude to ALL involved in the creation of Medicine Woman.
